Kent & Sheryl Stewart Family

Dear Family,

Another newsletter means news about the people we care about the most...so here’s the news from the Stewart Family. All is well here in Moreno Valley, aka, Mo Val. We can’t complain because we are truly blessed in our lives.
Kent has been released as the stake music chairperson, and at this time he doesn’t have a calling. Can you believe that? Someone needs to talk to his bishop. He has been REALLY busy at Bank of America and his group at work has been asked to work overtime until further notice. So, that’s good for Kent because he still has a job. He continues to work over at this mother’s house, across the street, in keeping her lawns beautiful.
I am still the Stake YW President and have had this job going on 2 years. It’s a calling that I have come to enjoy because I have wonderful ladies and stake leaders to work with. I am in the process of planning for girl’s camp and youth conference. It’s a big job to do but when all is said and done it’s worth the effort put in. So, who wants to be the next stake YM/YW president? School is coming to an end and you know what that means…..summer vacation. We’ll be seeing you this summer, well at least those who live in Utah and Arizona. Hopefully we’ll have our annual “water park” activity with the Utah family, so anyone who wants to join us be in Utah the week of July 19….oh yea, my birthday is that week so come and let’s party! I have about 30 more days of school, but I’m not counting.
Kyle, or should I say, Elder Stewart, is serving in Durango, Colorado at this time. He has been called to be a Zone Leader and enjoys learning more about leadership. He has about 6 months left….can you believe that? He likes Durango because it’s in the southern area of Colorado and the weather is a bit cooler. He keeps calling us to repentance to be a better member missionary, to write in our journals daily, work on family and personal history….and the list goes on. So, we’re trying to do better.
Collin will be graduating in June, and all I need to say is YEA!!!!!!! He plans, or at least I am having him do it, to go to the Jr. College part-time and find a job to save money for his mission next year. The best news is that he finally received his Eagle Scout Award. He, along with 4 others in our ward, received their Eagle Scout Awards together. It was a wonderful program and the best part was that I didn’t have to plan anything because the scout leaders planned it all. I only had to bring some refreshments. He continues to enjoy paint-balling, and tries to go as often as he can.
Life is good and it’s so great to have a WONDERFUL family. Hopefully we’ll get to see you sometime this year. If we don’t see you come on down to Mo Val to see us and we’ll even take you to In-N-Out. It doesn’t matter if you all have one close because the southern California ones are still the best.

We love you all. Kent, Sheryl, Kyle, and Collin
