Dear Family-Happy Holidays!! Happy Birthdays!! Happy Anniversaries!!
We hope this newsletter finds you all well and happy!! We always look forward to the family newsletter and we thank you for all your contributions!!
Kara loves high school, she is doing fantastic!! She still loves to hand out with friends, shop, and still loves the boys. Talking, Texting and Messenger are more than her parents can bear. Soccer is back in season and she is stoked! Her braces seem to be working, (they better for all the money we are paying.)
Douglas has joined the ranks of the working class. He is employed at EA games and loves it. When mom asks how his day way, he always says "sweet." He is in charge of the computer systems. His friends are dropping one by one, going on their missions. He is thinking of next summer. He plans to go to SLCC in January.
Joe and Tricia traveled to Alabama this summer. That is where Joe served his mission and they visited members and sights from his mission. They also stopped in Kentucky to visit Patti's brother Rich and family. Tricia is attending the U of U-working on her bachelors degree in Elem Ed. Joe is working for High Definitions (they do audio/visual/home theatres for expensive homes).
Delbert and Brooke have been married for 6 months now. They live in Logan. We love it when they come to visit (somehow when Delbert comes down-Patti's honey do list gets done). Delbert worked really hard this summer on our backyard and it is looking better. They are a happy couple.
Rebecca is still here in Salt Lake City and we are loving having her here! She loves her job and works really hard. She is running and working out. She is saving her money for a trip to Korea in February to visit a friend who is teaching English over there.
Patti is back at work at the crazy place they call an elementary school. She is still busy as Young Woman's President and keeping the home running smooth (running being the key word). Her backyard project is coming along really well. (finally started but not finished).
Paul continues as PFR on the High Council. He has a speaking assignment each month for the rest of the year. At work, he divides his time between running the framing crew and filling in as "liaison" between his boss and the homeowners. Paul has so much knowledge on all aspects of construction and is able to "get the job done" which makes everyone happy. He works very very hard for his families.
May the Lord bless each one of you and your families. You are always in our prayers. Take care- we love you all.
