Dear Family,
This is our first official newsletter! We are doing well up here in Logan, Utah. The canyons are beautiful and full of fall colors.
Brooke was pregnant, but miscarried in the first trimester. She is doing well. She is teaching kindergarten and first grade at a private school in Logan. The school is quite small and is in an old LDS church building. She is enjoying her first year of teaching elementary and has 13 students in her combined class. Brooke always seems to be busy planning, but she also tries to take time to relax.
Delbert switched jobs in July and is now working for a heating and air conditioning company. He enjoys his job a lot more than his old one. It is difficult because some days are busier than others, but his boss is flexible and pleasant to work for. We are grateful that Delbert is learning so much because when we get into a house, he will be able to do a lot of the work himself. He is currently helping his aunt and uncle install a/c in their house.
Other than work, we stay busy spending time with each other and with Madison (Maddy). Maddy is eight and in the third grade. Delbert baptised her in June on her birthday. What a special day to be baptised! Madison is quite the reader. She has started reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. She stays busy with karate, ballet, and of course, homework. She is doing great in school and just aced her last spelling test.
Well, we hope this newsletter finds you well and safe. We are so blessed to have each other and to be together for time and all eternity as family. We are also thankful for the blessings the lord has provided us and that he always watches over us. Keep in touch and we hope to see you soon!
Love, The Perry Family
