Dennis & Leah Haws Family

Dennis and Leah’s Family Letter--

Happy Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen.

It has been another gourgemas day here in NorCal. Yesterday was fabulous. Clear as a bell, could see for 50 miles, snow in the mountains, Mt Shasta about 50 miles north was crystal clear with snow blowing off the top. What’s up with LA? The whole place is on Fire, it’s on Fire.

Dear Robert, thanks for letting me know that Josh went on a mission to Tacoma, way back in August. ya loser. Can you keep your brother up on your family’s doings?

Josh, Matt, Ben, Corey, Skyler, Kyle congrats on your mission calls—Tacoma, Leon, Sydney, Albuquerque, Estonia, Netherlands—big high 5’s all the around from Uncle D
:) :)

Just got back from Japan last week. It wasn’t a bad trip. Went to Hiroshima’s Peace Park as well as spent an afternoon in Kyoto. Rented a bike and rode it around Kyoto for the day. It’s a neat way to see the city. Met some German guy in a Buddhist Temple built 600 years ago overlooking Kyoto. Kinda run down temple but it was a great way to see the city. I was going to spend one night in a capsule hotel but decided I didn’t want to cramp into a capsule the size of a coffin. All in all, a good business week in Japan.

By the way, one of my Cornucopia Enterprises business locations (Granzella’s) burned down last week. We lost all our equipment and customers and are now just starting to talk to insurance but you know how that goes. Pain in the neck.

Leah is a great support for Cornucopia Enterprises, the family business. She has worked to grow the “ad services” portion of business with radio commercials, TV commercials, print ready design, as well as a host of other services that we do. She is doing a fabulous job and helping us stay afloat even with the recent loss of Granzella’s. She is more than busy with the family business, taking care of the family, keeping the kids doing what they are supposed to be doing.

Ummmmm, well I’m (Max) still 13, soon to turn 14 in a couple of months. Will have my last soccer game this week. Went to a Halloween party the other day and had all the chicks chasing me. They’re all digging on me. I’m hot, cause your not., I’m fly cause you ain’t, (he wants me to delete it but I won’t). I’m obsessively in love with my dog Boo, still like to skate, and am still a deacon. 5 months and 2 weeks from now I’ll be 14. How bout that!

Dad, the smiley faces are dorky says Zane. I don’t know what to say but my Dad is insane. I’m now 11 and wishing I was as cool as my Dad!!!. Dad, I really don’t like Madison. Well they don’t even know who Madison is, but she’s real cute! Unfortunately Jake got a hold of her firsty!! It’s not spelled right Dad.

What the Corn, Dad!

Duke (5) is now in Kindergarten and is learning Chinese. He can count to 8 (forgets 9, 10). I go to kindergarten with my cousin Quinn who lives up the street. I’m looking forward for Halloween and I want to be a gangster. I’m going to be in the talent show on Friday and doing the Robot and Break Dancing. I have a bloody nose right now so I’m not in bed yet but will be soon. I sure do love my daddy.

All-in-all, everything for the Dennis Haws family is going well. We are enjoying our stay here in NorCal and being close to some family here. Saw Marsh and Tiff and their brood a few weeks back. I made a mean batch of Chile Verde for Marsh. He wanted my Chile Verde recipe so he could try to copy it but just couldn’t do it, he really couldn’t do it, could ya Marsh.

Next time add some Chicken Broth.

Want to continue this discussion or learn my mean Chile Verde recipe…….....give us a call -- Dennis & Leah’s # 530-232-0834

Love, Uncle D.

Fight On!
