Jason & Laurissa Haws family

Hello Everyone!

The time of year is here again for the family newsletter. It's hard to believe that six months has past already, so many things to report about. Our family is doing great. We had a fun summer seeing lots of family that came to visit and hanging out by our pool, where we spent most of our days due to the heat. Jason is doing great. He's working full time at Patterson and working part time for the City of Mesa as an umpire still. As well as working full time and part time, he is working towards finishing his Bachelor's in Criminal Justice. If working and going to school isn't taking enough time away from family, Jason is busy being he Elder's Quorum Secretary and is gone with meetings almost every Sunday. He is just one busy man! I am busy with four kids now. Yep, four. I had our newest addition on the 24th of September. We had a little boy who we named Brayson James. Life with four kids hasn't been to bad so far. The only challenge for me so far is balancing time with each kid one-on-one. I'm sure there are more to come though. Hunter is now in first grade and loves it. He is at the top of his class in every subject so far. His teacher says she uses him as an example to the other kids on just about everything. Besides school, Hunter has been helping with his little brothers and sister. Preston is now in Kindergarten and enjoys it very much. He goes to school with a smile on his face everyday. He is in Speech Therapy two days a week and is learning to to pronounce his letters and their sounds. Even with speech though, he is at the low end of his grade level, due to his hearing issues. He works hard at school and at home. He loves playing with his siblings and he always giving everyone "loves". Alexis is just a 'spit-fire' little girl. She is always on the go doing something, either singing, dancing, playing, running, whatever. She loves Brayson as a little brother, always sees to be in his face. She really likes playing house or school with the boys. We have been kind of potty-training her and she knows what to do, but whether she goes on the potty or not is a different story. Brayson is doing great so far. He seems to want to eat a lot the last few days but that just means he's growing. He looked like my side of the family when he was born but everyday I see more and more Haws in him. He sleeps pretty good throughout the night and has been staying awake more often during the day. He is such a joy to have in our family and we're glad he's finally here. Our family hopes your last six months has been great for all of you and we cant wait to hear how the next six months is going to be. We love you all!!
