Robert & Lorraine Haws

To Our Family Near and Far,

A big hello from Robert and I. I guess our biggest news is that we made it yet another year through April. Now May is here and we are trying to loft through it. Three more weeks of teaching and one piano recital and we are done for the summer! We are both well and busy. It was nice to have an article in the Beehive about our family. Jill Adair lives in our ward and is one of the writers. She did the article. It was about having four generations participate in Cavalcade and having three generations of ward organists. I'm sure sooner or later you will all see it.

Joshua is doing well as far as we know. Now you say, how come you sound like that - doesn't he write you every week? The answer is Yes he writes us - but Erin gets all the information. He lets us know he is fine and sometimes he even talks about his mission - but most of the real info comes from her. He tends to tell her whats really going on. But he really is doing well. His mission president was called to be a member of the first quorum of the seventy and last week he took all his missionaries to the Seattle Temple. Joshua said it was an awesome experience. President Pearson leaves in July. Josh will be sad - he really has learned to love this mission president.

We now have the opportunity to have the full time Elders in our home with us. It will be an interesting experience. Robert has been the ward mission leader for three years now. So needless to say we are in deep with missionary work. I guess there is a program where the church is trying to place as many of the missionaries in members homes as they can in the United States and Canada. Our home is definately not a permanent situation - but for now Joshuas room is available - so we are helping for now. We will see how long it lasts. The stake knows they need to find a more permanent situation.

We hope all of you are busy and happy. Hopefully we can see some of you this summer! We love our family and appreciate so much all of the love we share with all of you. Our memories are wonderful and many.
Our Love, Robert, Lorraine & Joshua
