Nancy Mann Family

News from the Mann Family is much the same as it has been. No major changes, I think I just jinxed that, and not a lot going on. I'll fill you in on what daily life is about here.

Kayla is excited more than ever to be done with Jr. High and on to the next big step, High School. I am not so sure that I am ready to have her around all those guys and beginning the dating process which, by the way, isn't until next March. She is eager and wanting to get her learners permit and seems to think that I should be willing to take her driving around town. She is growing up way too fast and wants to do it all. She is involved in a ballroom dance class and loves that so she is going to try out for the BYU Ballroom Dance Team for Youth. Piano is still a must because Mom says so and she is progressing nicely. She loves her dog Hobbs and is such a happy spirit.

Jenn is in 7th heaven with her new vehicle. She has wanted a truck for quite a while and finally found a great deal so she is now the proud owner of a Toyota Tacoma that is BYU blue. She loves her new wheels! She continues her work at New Haven but with an increase of responsibilities with her new title of Supervisor. They built a new house and made her the supervisor, which is a very high demand job. She now carries a work phone 24/7 and gets calls from parents of the girls and employees any time of the day and night. Many sleepless nights have been hers. She is finishing 2 classes so that she can apply for the Masters program and hopefully will start that next year. I continue to work hard at QuicKutz as Exec Asst. and enjoy the atmosphere there.

I couldn't ask for a better job with such wonderful people who all have high standards, which make it more fun. My boss is president of the company and will soon take the title of CEO/President so I am ready for even more responsibilities. He is wonderful to work for and has been so good to me. I am still working with the Beehive group and am getting ready for camp the first week of June.

Kayla, Jenn and I planned a nice spring break to San Diego for a few days and stopped in St. George for the night. Mindy decided she wanted to go too so by Wed noon she had packed up and we were all on our way. It was a fun but fast few days and we did have a great time at Sea World with the kids. I am sooo ready to go again!

Corey and Skyler are finally adjusting to mission life and are having some great experiences. It is so amazing to me that the Lord trusts His greatest work to these young men and women but I can see that the growth and maturity that comes from sacrificing 2 years of service can not be gotten any where else. I love to read their letters and to see that they become more independent themselves but more dependant on the Lord. This truly is the greatest work and we are so blessed to have the gospel in our lives.

Life is good and we are so greatly blessed to have been given a wonderful family with which to share life with. I love each of you so much and truly enjoyed my time in Mesa last month. I hope to be able to do that again. Wouldn't it be so fun to have a family gathering in San Diego? I know a nice but inexpensive place and we could have some great fun!!

Love you guys,
Nancy and Family
