Hi Everyone!
It’s that time again for the newsletter! It’s crazy how time flies! I can’t believe that another 6 months have passed and before you know it we’ll be writing again for next newsletter. We hope that everyone is healthy and happy!
I am now working at the same school that my mom is. I am a Title One Aid and work with 1st graders in reading and math. I enjoy teaching and working with the younger kids, and I am glad that I picked the lower grades cause they are just so cute and want to learn. I have enjoyed filling my days with busy school work. I work part time for Joe’s parents still just when they need me but that is looking like every Friday I’ll be there. But things are good with me. Just working and studying for the Praxis.
Joe started working for a new company this past April. It’s okay work! It’s just nice to have him working and out of the house. Joe is still looking for a new job but not many people are hiring. He really enjoys his profession and is looking for more jobs in the Audio Video World. He enjoys the challenge and seeing new TV products. If you ever need help on picking a TV or the latest gadget Joe is the guy to call.
This past summer we remodeled the basement. We had a large utility room that was just wasted space so we thought that it would be nice to put in a kitchen and use it as more practical space. So we mentioned it to some friends that we wanted to rent it out and they mentioned to another friend moving from California to go to school at LDS Business College and now we are landlords. We owe a lot of the final product to my family (thanks dad!) and Joe’s brother Isaiah for pushing the project along to get it done in two weeks but now it’s amazing and we love the final product! We love having it done, The backyard is the project for next year! We look forward to adding value to our home so that someday if we want to sell we can make a larger profit. But I’ll attach some pictures of the before and after of the basement.
I’ve also started a small blog that you can see pictures of the basement and other happenings going on! But my blog is set to private so you will need to send me an e-mail and I’d love to send you an invite!
But things are good and we are enjoying this lovely weather we are having. Someday soon we’ll start getting winter weather! I love the fall weather and I’m not looking forward to winter! Oh well!
