Nancy Mann & Family

Hello Family,

Spring has arrived here in Utah and we have finally had some warmer weather, along with 8 inches of snow last week, which we have all enjoyed. Life is beautiful!

The Mann family is busy and moving in all different directions, with Corey in Estonia, Skyler in the Netherlands and Brandon and Sharon leaving for Alaska tomorrow. We have been greatly blessed with school, work and many experiences that have brought much growth and learning. Isn't that what life is all about??????

Corey has just been transferred for the sixth time and is in Tallin, Estonia, which is the capitol city and a major seaport. He did exchange the warmth and sun of Lithuania for the cold, windy weather in Tallin where, according to his words, he had to "bust out his big coat" again. He has waited for this opportunity to be in this big city and is looking forward to the many opportunities ahead. He is excited for the missionary experiences that await him and loves doing the work of the Lord. He would LOVE letters from anyone willing to send him one!!!

Skyler is serving in Den Bosch, Netherlands, and loves to see the Lord's hand in everything about missionary work. He has met some wonderful people and has made some great friendships. This area seems to be a melting pot of sorts and he has worked with people from many countries. He was visiting a new member and realized that the people in his apartment were from Figi, Albania, China, Zimbabwe, England, America and Turkey. It is very diverse. Skyler and his companion were kicked out of an investigators church and told they were not welcome because the pastor was afraid that they would take his members. Good experience!!!

News alert!!!!! Kayla is now 16 and is driving (scary I know). She loves to be seen in the drivers seat of my car and wants to drive everywhere. She has been asked to prom and is looking forward to her first "real" dance which is tomorrow. She just finished her latest play and is looking forward to trying out for the next one. She has become quite the little actress and was recently only one of two female roles in the play "Wait Until Dark". She was able to visit Disneyland in April for her choir tour and had a great time performing, and bringing home first place for the choir competition. She continues to enjoy life and will perform for the Stadium of Fire, with the Jonas Brothers, on the Fourth of July.

Jenn is working with a company, Called to Serve, and trying to decide if she should invest in it and become owner of the business. It is a web-based company that assembles gift packages for missionaries, family members or friends who are living away and need a little TLC from home. She is learning the many aspects of being a business owner and will make a decision in the near future. She just finished making 8 batches of strawberry jam, very delicious by the way (just ask Dennis and his boys)! She loves country dancing, her truck, and playing with nieces and nephews when they stop by.

I am in finals for my second semester and will be glad when next week is over. I have enjoyed being back in school and don't even feel out of place with all the millions of teenagers that walk the halls. Actually, I feel right at home! I will begin the summer semester on May 6th and will keep moving right along until the end summer 2010. I am excited for the next round of grandkids that are due this summer which will bring the total to eight little kiddies I can enjoy.

Life is good and the Mann family continues to move right along, hopefully in the right direction. We are greatly blessed and have seen the Lord's hand in our lives many times. Life is great, isn't it!!!!!
