Brandon & Sharon Mann

Hello everyone! The last 6 months have been great in our home! I can’t believe Brandon and I are getting close to celebrating our 2 year anniversary. Time sure flies fast! Since the last newsletter, we’ve had a few fun things happen at our home. At the beginning of May, Brandon had the opportunity to go to Guatemala and Mexico with my dad. They had fun hiking around Mayan ruins and enjoying the fun culture down there. Meanwhile, I had to stay home and go to school Spring term. I took my LPN (licensed practical nurse) boards and passed, so my CNA days are over!!! Although I actually enjoyed the people that I worked with as a CNA, I have to admit that I am much happier with my new job as LPN! Now, we are both back in school. Brandon is at UVU and has finally decided on a major! Wahoo! He is majoring in aviation technology management. However, since no school in Utah actually offers this major…we are planning on moving as soon as I graduate. Brandon was accepted to the University of Alaska Anchorage, so we’re off to Alaska next year! Hopefully I can handle the cold and long dark days! Until then, he is taking a few classes at UVU that transfer to Alaska (including a piloting class where he actually flies planes…eek). I am in my senior year at BYU in the nursing program. I graduate in April, and I’m so super excited! Just under 6 months to go…but who is counting?! Other than that, we’re both just working! Brandon is still at Fishbowl and loving being able to work with so many of his good friends and family! We love living so close to both of our families, and we are trying to enjoy it while we can!
