Paul & Patti Haws

Hello Family!

Hope all is well with you all! Here in Utah we are awaiting Spring--it has been cold and wet this year. We cannot wait to see some sunshine and flowers

Our family traveled to Disneyland for Christmas vacation. We had so much fun and really enjoyed being together as a family. And to get to Disneyland, Paul and Patti bought a "new" van. It is a 2007 black Chrysler Town & Country. We love it. It also gets a lot better gas mileage than the green truck.

Rebecca (our family traveler) went to So. Korea in February. She stayed with friends for 2 weeks. She really enjoyed it. All the Koreans wanted to practice their English skills with her--so she was quite popular. She is thinking of living there and teaching English. She also went to Ohio to visit other friends. It was fun. She is still living here in SLC and working.

Brooke and Delbert are having a baby in August. Brooke will begin teaching 1st grade in the Fall. Maddie is busy taking sking, karate and dance. They love Logan.

Tricie and Joe are house hunting. Tricia just finished a semester at the U of U. She is taking a full class load this summer.

Douglas is just finishing a semester at SLCC, taking Math and Racquetball. He is working full-time at 4LIFE research (a vitamin/nutrition company) in IT. He had his wisdom teeth out a couple of weeks ago. He plays soccer and ran a 5K with his work and is planning a CA trip with friends for the first of May.

Kara is enjoying high school (most days). She is still playing soccer (Spring season just began and goes until May). She likes soccer, hanging out with friends, and, of course, boys. She will be a YCL at Girls Camp this year.

Patti is counting the days until school is out (30 on 4/25/08) and she can get to some summer PROJECTS. Her days are filled with work, young women, and driving around the town.

Paul continues on the High Council and playing the organ. He tries to play racquetball as much as he can. He is super busy at work (they will have a home in the Park City Home Show) and are closing a big house--or course all around August.

We are all well and happy. We hope the same for you. We love our family and we always love to hear the latest from you! Take care all!!!
