Marshall & Tiffany Haws

Hello Family!
Well since the last newsletter, Marshall has taken a different job. He is now working at Conagra foods. He is liking it well enough. The benefits are supposed to be way better. He is now working on second shift (2:30pm-11pm), which is thouroughly kicking my behind. I feel like a single mama these days.
I have decided to take some stress allieviating actions and close my daycare for the summer. The kids and I will be venturing out to Arizona, with or without Marshall. I am also planning a trip to Oregon to visit my brother and his family this summer.
Lacie (12yrs) is a very social girl. She is looking forward to summer and can't wait to have a break from school. She is raising a pig for her 4-H project this year. She will be auctioning him at the county fair in June. She is fascinated with Elmo. Her favorite past time is tormenting Jaxon with big wet "kissy goo goo's"
Jaxon (7yrs) is not enjoying "kissy goo goo's", but he is enjoying 4-H. His most recent Clover project is watermelons and sunflowers. He started them from seeds and is getting ready to plant the seedlings in the ground. He would like to keep them in his room, but they are going to need to be outside soon. He is doing awesome in school and enjoys reading, playing his Nintendo DS, basketball, and tetherball.
E.J. (4yrs) is a very rambunctious child. He is by far my biggest challenge. He seems to always have jumping beans in his pants. He can't hold still! I wish I could bottle up his energy and sell it. He is a very smart boy. He is looking forward to Kindergarten in the Fall.
Shiana(3yrs) is a major sweetie pie. She always wants to help. When she is paired up with E.J. though, they tend to be partners in crime. She is a take charge kind of girl that wants to do everything herself. She is also very smart and will starting preschool in the fall.
Tonisha (16 months) is waiting for a an adoptive family. She is doing well with her health issues. Despite the fact that she has severe delays, she is progressing. The adoption worker says it will take time to find an appropriate family for her, so we are not anticipating her leaving any time soon.
We have another foster son with us now. His name is Decari. He just turned two years old in March. He is a sweet little guy and is adjusting well.
We hope you are all doing well and we look forward to seeing some of you this summer.
Love,
Tiffany, Marshall, Lacie, Jaxon, E.J., Shiana, Toni, & Decari
