Happy Spring Haws Family,
The James Haws Family has been trying to keep busy these last few months and come to find out that it doesn’t take much to keep busy. We have had school, homework, dance practice, piano, work, kids, family and daily life keeping us busy. But it seems that April was the craziest for us. We had spring break and James and I decided that it would be fun to get away to the mountains and have the kids play in the snow. We stayed in Pine Top and then went to Greer to play in the snow. The kids had fun, but they didn’t like the cold. We went sledding, had snowball fights and even went to Greer to see the property with snow all over the ground. That was fun but very cold. Jacee got sick our last day there, so that wasn’t any fun. By the end of spring break Jacee wasn’t getting any better, long story short, I took her to the ER the Friday before Easter and after being there for 5 hours or so, they decided to admit her because she wasn’t getting any better. Thanks Lorraine and Jason for being at the hospital with me keeping me company and being concerned about Jacee. Meant a lot to me. After doing some tests they found out that she had a Rotavirus. Serious in kids under the age of 4. She was there for Easter Sunday, which wasn’t any fun. James stayed with her for 2 nights at the hospital so I could be home with the kids. She was released the next afternoon. We were glad to have her home. It took her a few days to get back to normal. She was still really weak when she got home. Then a few weeks later, James had to go to Urgent Care because he got some gases sprayed in his face at work. Other than that, we are still alive and kicking. Only a month left of school. How time flies. We will be going go to Greer over the 4th of July weekend. I can’t wait. I love and look forward to going to Greer every year. Kylie got baptized in January. We are do proud of her. It was a very special day. James was proud to be her dad that day. Kylie is 8, Alecia is 6, Zach will be 3 in May and Jacee will be 2 in July. How fast they grow. They keep me busy so it is hard at times. I hang in there though. We hope everyone is doing well and hope you have a great summer.
Love, James, Stacee, Kylie, Alecia, Zach and Jacee Haws
