Haws Family,
Life in our house is as busy as ever. But even with everything going on, we still find time for those things that are most important.
Mylie is now almost nine months old and is cute as ever. She is starting to get from sitting position to her hands and knees and will rock back and forth. She still hasn’t learned how to move her hands and legs once in that position, but I’m sure it won’t be long. She loves to laugh and giggle and seems to always have a smile on her face. She is so fun to have and every time Ashlie goes out with her, people have to stop and comment on how cute she is. We love having her around and are excited for her to continue to grow.
Ashlie is now as busy as ever. Aside from being a full-time, stay-at-home mom, and a full-time wife she just accepted a call to serve as our branch Relief Society President. Like she didn’t have enough on her plate already! She’s been in her position for a few weeks now and is so excited to be there. She is having a ton of fun getting to know the members of our branch and neighborhood. In her spare time she is working on decorating our house and is doing a wonderful job. She has also started scrapbooking our Family events and is somehow finding time to attend a quilting class once a week. She is wonderful at all she does and her organization is the envy of her husband.
Chris just finished another semester in school and is that much closer to graduation. After this semester, he only lacks a few more classes. He just got another 4.0 GPA, who knows how he does it with everything he does. Chris is a great husband and also a wonderful father to Mylie. Mylie just smiles every time she sees daddy come home. Chris is still working at Fishbowl Inventory and loves it.
As a family we are working on finishing are basement and have done some of the work ourselves. Learning how to do it has proven to be a time-consuming task, but very fun. We are excited for summer and everything it brings, especially the nice weather. We hope to see you this summer on the lake, up the canyon, outback for a BBQ, at the ballpark, on the front porch, or anywhere you might find us enjoying the season.
