Dearest Family,
The summer is over? Oh my- where did it go? Seems like we were just looking forward to opening Greer. Now its closed. Can't believe it went so fast. Since you will be hearing from everyone except for Joshua, Robert and I will report on us.
Joshua is now serving his mission in the Washington Tacoma Mission. He says it is green and beautiful-mostly wet! Before he left he was working in the construction field and dating. He was serving as a ward missionary and enjoyed his association with the full time and ward missionaries. He is now applying a lot of what he learned. We went to Salt Lake along with Jason, Laurissa & family to put Josh in the MTC. This has been a tradition with us. We had a wonderful time even though it was very hot. Anyone who would like to drop Josh a note can do so by writing him at: joshhaws@myldsmail.net.
Robert is still the Ward Mission Leader. He has done this for three years now. Some of the missionaries that have gone home now are married and having children. It is fun hearing from them as they marry. Of course he still plays for sacrament meeting and choir. He keeps very busy with the office, work, missionaries and their needs, and his wife!
Lorraine is teaching, directs the choir when it's our turn to sing and tries to keep up with an ever growing family. 11 grandchildren and counting! We love them so much! Her brother Wes is now in hospice care and is not expected to live much longer. We hope he doesn't suffer too much. We love you all and hope the holidays bring much joy.
Robert, Lorraine & Joshua
