Hello Everyone!
It is finally fall! Yeah! The hot Arizona summers seem to get longer each year. I am beginning to measure life in 6 month increments between newsletters. They seem to be coming faster and faster.
Jerry is very busy with school and work. He spent a couple of months going to California for several days each week for work. School is time intense, and he is looking forward to next May when he can graduate with his MBA. He decided to do a room addition during the summer. It is still a work in progress. Coleen is enjoying being at home this year, taking a break from substituting.
Brad is going to the local Jr. College. He is discovering that he really enjoys drawing. Aunt Leah, you would be proud! Trent became a certified scuba diver this summer. He went on a 50 mile backpacking trip with Jerry for Scouts. Brad and Trent both learned some great construction skills while working on the room addition.
Janell is loving life as a big senior this year. She is stressing out about college plans. She is also going to the local Jr. College in the evening. Caroline is in the sixth grade, which makes her parents feel really old. She keeps busy with piano, dance, gymnastics, and homework. They both loved learning to make jewelry over the summer.
Life has been full of challenges and learning experiences, but we are healthy, happy, and love our family and the gospel. We love you all and appreciate having such a great family!
